Absolutely obsessed with the Cabin Fever dress from For Love & Lemons that just arrived at Lucia. It's the first style from this new line that we'll be carrying and I can't wait to get the rest of the collection in. Yay for new awesome designers!

Movin On Up
My husband and I recently had an article published in The Saratogian about our new ventures...Lucia is expanding to the front space of the Saratoga Marketplace. It will enable me to have a window facing Broadway, expand my inventory and be able to showcase all the merchandise in a more cohesive way. It' a very exciting project and is something I've been wishing and waiting for since I opened in May of 2006.
My husband is soon opening a comfort food lunch/catering spot in the downstairs area of the Saratoga Marketplace, called Comfort Kitchen. He's truly the best and most creative cook I have ever known and I can't wait for the rest of Saratoga to be able to taste his delicious creations.

Desperately needing some inspiration for what to wear to the trade shows in new york this week....you never know if it's going to be blazing hot or freezing cold in there. Layering will be key!

Journey of Awakening
A few weeks ago, my good friends of Sisters of the Light asked if I would like to lend some styles from Lucia that would work in to their latest photo shoot. I of course jumped at the opportunity, seeing they have impeccable vision and style. Lucia (454 Broadway)- Without a doubt, this shop is a favorite. While the tops and bags can be somewhat expensive on the rack, there are often many spectacular sales of which you can take advantage. The jewelry and accessories, however, are what really draws Skidmore females. A selection of earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and scarves can range from fifteen to thirty five dollars and vary between fancy and casual, everyday wear. The staff is friendly and helpful and shopping there is always enjoyable. If you need a way belated holiday gift for your roommate or a place to drop hints to your boyfriend/any other form of significant other for the big V-day, you cannot go wrong with Lucia.
